BioI'm a working mother of 2, well 3 if you include hubby. *grin* I've been writing stories/fics since I was about 13 and always dreamt of writing professionally. You that saying "my eyes were bigger than my stomach"? Well, that's me. The aspiring writer who doesn't write very often with tons of ideas. I live for fanfiction. Life is too serious sometimes, and fic is my much needed escape.
Beyond writing and fanfic, I'm a voracious reader. I've always been intersted in sci fi, witches, demons, mythology and the paranormal, so my library consist of mostly those types of books. Oh, and I somewhere along the line developed a craving for Scottish Highlander type books too. *shrug*
My first internet love was La Femme Nikita. Then I fell in love with Angel, then Firely, then BSG and most recently Blood Ties. Does anyone see the Canadian connection here? (Angel being the exception) Those Canadian's sure know how to make a show that sticks to ya, huh?
I was very active in the LFN community for a long time, but now I generally lurk. It's hard to make new friends in new places, so I usually sit back and watch. Sometimes, I'll come out and play, but due to time restraints, work and children, a quick in and out is my modus operendi as of late. (did I spell that right?)
I've started writing again. If my muses will shut up, I might be able to string a few sentences together and actually get something done. I have 3 BSG fic's and 4 BT fic's currently shouting at me wanting some attention. I still have 3 LFN stories not finished, but the others are yipping at my heels, so Michael and Nikita just need to stay locked in the Farm House of love for a little bit longer until I get this mess in my head cleared up a bit.
